Suniel Shetty Rejects Rs 40 Crore Tobacco Endorsement
Suniel Shetty is a famous Bollywood actor who recently talked about his career and personal life.
He admitted that he doesn't see himself as a big star in the movie industry, but his love for fitness has kept him relevant.
He also shared that he lost his father in 2017, which made him take a long break from acting.
After his break, he felt more confident and didn't need validation from others.
Suniel also mentioned that he refused a huge amount of money, Rs 40 crore, to promote a tobacco product because he doesn't believe in it and doesn't want to set a bad example for his children.
He said that even though he's not a big star, he still gets love and respect from young fans.
Suniel Shetty rejected a Rs 40 crore offer to endorse a tobacco product to set a positive example for his kids, Ahan and Athiya.
He attributed his decision to his personal beliefs and core values, stating he wouldn't do anything that would leave a blemish on his children.
Suniel took a 6-7 year break from acting after his father, Veerappa Shetty, passed away in 2017, during which he cared for his father who was unwell from 2014.
He made his comeback challenging, feeling uncertain about his craft and relevance in the industry after such a long hiatus.
Post-pandemic, Suniel gained confidence through self-improvement and no longer felt the need for external validation.
