Protesters Use Classic Poetry in 2026 Student Uprising
In June 2026, students in Delhi started protesting after a big exam paper was leaked.
The protest, led by a group called the Cockroach Janta Party, has been going on for seven weeks.
The protesters use old poems and songs to express their anger and connect with the history of resistance.
The government has tried to stop the protests with tear gas and barricades, but the protesters keep going.
The poems they use, like 'Hum Dekhenge' by Faiz Ahmad Faiz, were written a long time ago but still fit their feelings today.
The protests have grown bigger than anyone expected, and the students are showing that they won't give up easily.
