HURL and NSDC Partner for Rural Youth Skill Development
Imagine a program called “SAKSHAM” created to help people in the countryside learn new skills.
HURL and NSDC are working together to make this happen.
They will teach people how to do things like work in banks, stores, or with computers.
This program helps young people, women, and farmers find jobs or start their own businesses.
It also helps them get access to government programs.
It's like giving people tools to build a better future and help their communities.
Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) signed an MoU.
The MoU is for the skill development program Project “SAKSHAM”, under HURL’s Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER) initiative.
The project aims to empower 2,265 youth, women, and smallholder farmers from low-income families.
Training will cover sectors including BFSI, Retail, Electronics, IT-ITeS, Agriculture, and competitive exam preparation.
