Calcutta High Court permanently restrains KIT KAT trademark use
The Calcutta High Court has permanently stopped KIT KAT Food Products (now Keka Food Products) from using the 'KIT KAT' trademark.
Nestle had accused the company of continuing to use the trademark despite an earlier court order.
The court ruled that any use of the 'KIT KAT' mark or any similar mark by the company or its representatives would be a violation of the court's order.
This means the company cannot manufacture, market, or sell any products using the 'KIT KAT' name or any name that could confuse customers.
