South Korea Monitors Russia's Reported North Korean Troop Plans

South Korea is keeping a close eye on reports that Russia might be getting more soldiers from North Korea to help in its war with Ukraine.

The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said Russia is preparing to take in 30,000 more North Korean troops.

However, South Korea's government hasn't seen any proof of this yet.

North Korea has already sent about 20,000 troops to Russia, with around 14,000 of them fighting on the front lines.

This all started after North Korea and Russia signed a special agreement in June 2024.

The foreign minister of North Korea recently visited Russia, which has people wondering if the two countries will work even more closely together in the future.
