CME Feeder Cattle Futures Drop on Hot Weather

Feeder cattle futures dropped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange on Tuesday because it's very hot, and grain prices went up.

This made buyers less willing to put cattle on feed lots.

The price of soybeans went down a bit, but corn prices went up slightly.

Live cattle futures had mixed results, with some going up and others going down.

Beef prices also dropped a little.

Meat packers lost money but not as much as the day before.

Hog prices went up a tiny bit, and the price of pork carcasses also increased.
