Costa Rica Uncovers Plot to Kill President

Costa Rica's government found out about a plan to kill their president, Rodrigo Chaves, just before an important election.

They think a woman who uses social media a lot might be involved, but they're not sure yet.

The president can't run for another term, so he's supporting a former minister named Laura Fernandez to take his place.

Some people are worried that the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, might try to interfere with the election.

President Chaves invited Bukele to help start building a new big prison in Costa Rica, similar to one in El Salvador.

Some people who were sent to that prison say they were treated badly.
