Producers Guild Expands Harassment Training Access
The Producers Guild of America is working with the Hollywood Commission to make their Set Etiquette Training program available to more small movie and TV productions.
This training helps prevent harassment on set.
Before, only bigger independent productions with at least 20 people could join.
Now, any small U.S. production that follows certain rules can get the training for free.
They will also get helpful guides and tools to keep their sets safe and professional.
The leaders of both organizations say they want everyone working in movies and TV to have a respectful and safe workplace.
The Producers Guild of America (PGA) is expanding access to its Set Etiquette Training program.
The program, previously limited to independent U.S. productions with at least 20 cast and crew, is now open to all U.S. independent productions signatory to IATSE’s Low Budget Theatrical Agreement.
The training, offered virtually or in-person during pre-production, is led by an experienced attorney and adapted to the specific needs of each production.
Participating productions will receive additional resources, including a reference guide, code of conduct template, safety guidelines, a reporting tool, and a glossary of terms.
The collaboration aims to support safer and more professional working environments for all production team members.
