The Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. Revanth Reddy, is going to start a big building project in Hyderabad.

He will lay the first stone for new apartment towers in a place called KPHB Colony.

These apartments are called Indiramma Housing flats.

They are meant to give poor and middle-class families affordable homes.

The government plans to build one lakh - that is 100,000 - such homes across the Hyderabad region.

In the first phase, 7,340 flats will be built at 18 locations.

The government has set aside about Rs 807 crore for this first phase.

Each home will have a carpet area of 400 square feet.

The government will pay Rs 5 lakh toward each home, and the family buying it will pay Rs 6 lakh.
