Ajay Chaturvedi Works to Build a Vedic Village

Ajay Chaturvedi is trying to help the village of Dwara live in a more natural and sustainable way.

He says the village needs to reconnect with its roots.

Over five years, the project has planted more than 500,000 plants and crops, including turmeric, ginger and lemon.

Chaturvedi says he has spent more than Rs two crore on research and development.

He hopes the village can also use solar power and grow food in ways that help the land.

Those parts of the plan have not started yet because money is limited.

Landslides, heavy rain and wild animals can also make the work difficult.
