Delhi Landlord Arrested for Tenant's Murder After Prolonged Assault
A man who owns a building got angry at two people who lived there.
He thought they were trying to break into his phone to hide something bad and also that they stole some of his old coins.
Because of this, he locked them up in his room and beat them for more than two days.
One of the men, named Tamanney, managed to escape with his friend Virender.
Later, Tamanney went to the police to tell them what happened.
While he was telling his story to the police, he became very sick and passed away.
The landlord, named Irshad, was arrested by the police because of this.
He also told the police he used special injections to get stronger when he was hurting the tenants.
A landlord in Northwest Delhi, Irshad, has been arrested for allegedly beating his tenant, Tamanney, for over two days, leading to the tenant's death.
Irshad suspected Tamanney and another tenant, Virender, of hacking his phone to erase evidence of a factory theft and stealing his rare coins.
The tenants were allegedly confined and assaulted with fists and a belt by Irshad on Wednesday and Thursday.
Tamanney escaped with Virender and later went to the police to give a statement, but fainted and was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Irshad admitted to the assault, claiming he was under the influence of 'Termin injections' which he used for muscle gain and strength.
