Pune Police Targets 72 Juveniles for Rehabilitation and Training

Pune Police has started a programme to help 72 young people who have had trouble with the law.

The programme is called Samvad Parivartan Yatra, which means a journey of dialogue and change.

The children are receiving counselling and training for jobs.

Police are also involving their families.

Officials hope this will help the children return to regular community life and reduce crime.

During recent festivals, police also enforced rules limiting loud sound systems.

They registered 116 cases against groups that broke those rules.

Police are investigating people who allegedly used fake sports certificates to get police jobs, and some suspects have been arrested.
