Thirumavalavan Accuses DMK of Humiliating and Driving Allies Out

VCK leader Thol.

Thirumavalavan and MDMK leader Durai Vaiko criticized the DMK.

They said the DMK treated its alliance partners unfairly during discussions about election seats.

Thirumavalavan compared the number of seats given to different parties.

He asked why DMDK received 10 seats while MDMK received four and had to use the DMK symbol.

He also said Makkal Needhi Maiam received no seats.

Durai Vaiko said the DMK pressured Thirumavalavan over contesting from Kattumannarkoil.

Both leaders said the DMK’s actions pushed several allies away.

The article says those parties later joined the TVK-led alliance after the 2026 Assembly elections.
