Five IPOs Post Worst Listing-Day Performances in 2025
This year, five companies had a really bad first day when they started selling their shares to the public.
These companies are Glottis, Om Freight Forwarders, BMW Ventures, Arisinfra Solutions, and Jaro Institute.
Their shares were worth much less than what they hoped for on the first day.
For example, Glottis's shares were worth 35% less, and now they are worth 52% less than what they wanted.
This happened because the shares were too expensive and not many people wanted to buy them.
Out of 107 companies that started selling shares this year, 35 are now worth less, and 18 only gained a little.
This shows that investing in new shares can be risky.
Glottis's shares listed at a 35% discount and are now 52% below IPO price.
Om Freight Forwarders listed at a 40% discount and is now 28% below IPO price.
BMW Ventures listed at a 21% discount and is now 41% below IPO price.
Arisinfra Solutions listed at an 8% discount and is now 39% below IPO price.
Jaro Institute listed at par but is now 39% below IPO price.
