Sinkhole Opens Near Gurugram’s IFFCO Chowk After Heavy Rain

Sinkhole Opens Near Gurugram’s IFFCO Chowk After Heavy Rain

A large hole opened in a road in Gurugram after heavy rain.

The hole is about 10 feet deep.

Officials think a big sewer pipe under or beside the road may have leaked.

The leaking water could have washed away soil beneath the road.

This left an empty space that caused the road to collapse.

Police blocked the area and redirected traffic.

Workers from NHAI and GMDA inspected the damage.

They planned to repair the sewer line first.

The road will be repaired after the ground becomes safe and stable.
