Over 4,000 Allegedly Duped in Fake Government Job Recruitment Scam

More than 4,000 people in Ballia were allegedly tricked by a fake job scheme.

The people behind it promised them jobs and a monthly salary of Rs 15,000.

They used names that sounded like official government organisations.

Police say the groups were operating from a rented place in Tikhampur.

A villager complained to the police about the scheme.

Based on that complaint, police registered a case.

The case names 13 accused people and five unknown people.

The investigation concerns the alleged promise of jobs through these organisations.
