Mumbai Property Registrations Hit 14-Year High in 2025
In 2025, Mumbai saw the highest number of property registrations in 14 years, with 150,231 properties registered.
This is a 6% increase from the previous year.
In December 2025 alone, 14,424 properties were registered, which is a 16% increase compared to December 2024.
Most of these registrations were for residential properties, making up 80% of the total.
Experts say this growth happened because more people wanted to buy homes and there were more properties available to buy.
