Karnataka Schools to Teach Road Safety in Books from 2025
Imagine you're learning about traffic lights and staying safe on the road.
Starting in 2025, kids in some Karnataka schools will get these lessons in their books.
The goal is to teach kids how to follow traffic rules and be safe.
The police are helping create the lessons.
But some parents are a bit worried.
They think the government should fix some other school problems first, like having enough teachers and paying them on time.
They're wondering why add something new without solving these older issues.
Karnataka will add road safety lessons to school books.
The lessons start in the 2025-26 school year.
Lessons will be for students in Classes 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9.
The traffic police are helping to create the lessons.
Some parents and teachers expressed concerns about the change.
