Shepherd and 90 Sheep Rescued from Rising Krishna River
A man who takes care of sheep was out with his flock near a big river.
The river started to rise very quickly because of more water flowing into it.
The man and all 90 of his sheep got trapped!
Luckily, some people heard him call for help and told a rescue team.
The rescue team was already nearby because they were getting ready for a storm, and they quickly saved the man and his sheep.
Everyone is now safe.
A shepherd and his 90 sheep were rescued from the rising Krishna River in Andhra Pradesh's Bapatla district.
The shepherd, Paul from Chintalanka village, was unaware of the danger posed by the swollen river while grazing his flock.
Sudden intensification of flood inflows trapped Paul and his sheep, prompting him to raise an alarm.
Fellow villagers alerted the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team, which conducted a swift rescue operation.
