India in Top 100 for SDG Progress, Report Finds
India has improved in its ranking for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are goals set by the UN to make the world a better place.
India is now in the top 100 countries.
However, the report says that the world as a whole isn't making as much progress as hoped, and many of the goals set for 2030 aren't going to be met.
Some European countries are doing very well.
The report also highlighted that issues like conflicts are slowing down progress.
India ranks 99th in the 2025 SDG Index, improving from its 2024 rank.
The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network published the report.
