Chinnaswamy Stadium Reopens for IPL
The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru has been given permission to host IPL and international cricket matches again.
This decision comes after the stadium was closed for matches following a tragic stampede during RCB's victory celebrations in June 2025.
The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has assured that they will follow all the safety rules set by the government.
The stadium hasn't hosted any matches since it was deemed unsafe in 2025.
The approval means that the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) can play their home games at their usual venue.
The KSCA has also been working to improve their administration after some officials resigned following the tragedy.
