Tata Motors Launches Tata.Cars Identity, Retains Tata.ev for Electric Vehicles
Tata Motors has created a new name called Tata.Cars for its passenger-car business.
Customers will see this name in dealerships, online, service centres and marketing.
The company’s petrol, diesel and electric passenger vehicles will be covered by the broader Tata.Cars identity.
Tata.ev will still be used for the electric-vehicle business.
The cars will not receive new names or badges.
The Tata ellipse on the vehicles will also stay the same.
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited will remain the company’s legal name.
This is mostly a change in branding and presentation, not a change to the vehicles themselves.
