Probe Ordered After Gloves, Paper Allegedly Left During Beed C-Section

Sandhya Suraj Gaikwad, a 19-year-old woman, had a C-section at a government hospital in Beed.

The surgery happened on August 1.

Afterward, she developed very bad stomach pain and other health problems.

Her family took her to a private medical facility, where scans reportedly found objects inside her abdomen.

One report says doctors at Sassoon Hospital in Pune later removed gloves and paper wipes during emergency surgery.

Her family complained to the district hospital.

Health officials are investigating the doctor and the operating-room team.

They said disciplinary action could follow if anyone is found responsible.
