Telangana Sanctions Rs 11.10 Crore for RIMS Repairs

The Telangana government approved money to repair RIMS Hospital in Adilabad.

The hospital was damaged when an air-conditioner exploded.

The approved amount is Rs 11.10 crore.

The money will come from a fund managed by the Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Care Trust.

A government department allowed the trust’s chief executive officer to release the money.

The repairs are considered urgent.

The amount will later be adjusted against unpaid bills or future Aarogyasri payments.

The decision followed requests from the trust’s chief executive officer and the Adilabad collector.
