Two Class 12 Marksheets May Permit Engineering Entrance Applications
A student can sometimes use two Class 12 marksheets when applying for engineering courses.
For example, one marksheet may be from CBSE and another may show Mathematics studied through NIOS.
This may allow applications to JEE Main, MHT-CET, and COMEDK.
However, every examination and college can have its own rules.
Mathematics must be accepted as a qualifying subject for the application to work.
Students seeking JEE Advanced or IIT admission may also qualify if Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are listed as required subjects.
They still need to meet all other eligibility requirements.
The advisor also said that students preparing for JEE Advanced should study Mathematics seriously.
Biotechnology applicants can consider CUET-UG, IAT, NEST, and ICAR-UG/CUET in 2027, although exact dates had not been announced.
Students may generally apply for JEE Main, MHT-CET, and COMEDK with CBSE and NIOS Class 12 marksheets.
Eligibility depends on each entrance examination and college accepting Mathematics as an additional subject.
Mathematics taken through NIOS may qualify applicants, but specific admission rules must be checked.
Students with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as qualifying Class XII subjects may be eligible for JEE Advanced and IIT admissions.
Biotechnology-related exams listed for 2027 include CUET-UG, IAT, NEST, and ICAR-UG/CUET, with final dates pending.
