BRS Plans Campaign to Challenge Congress’s 1,000-Day Rule

The BRS opposition party is planning protests about the Congress government’s first 1,000 days in office.

One report says the campaign will last a week and begin on September 2.

Another says it will last 10 days and begin on September 1.

The BRS says Congress made six guarantees and 420 promises during the election.

BRS workers will tell people which promises they believe have been completed or are still pending.

They will use cards to list promises that are owed.

The party plans meetings, rallies, marches, protests and petitions in different places.

The activities will focus on issues affecting farmers, women, students, young people, workers and other groups.

The articles do not report a response from the Congress government.
