Reliance Consumer Products Promotes Lotus Chocolate
Reliance Consumer Products Limited, now called Tira Beauty Limited, has become the new owner of Lotus Chocolate Company.
This change happened because of a special plan approved by a court.
The plan moved 51% of Lotus Chocolate's shares from the old Reliance Consumer Products to the new one.
Even though Lotus Chocolate's stock has gone down recently, it has made a lot of money for investors in the last five years, going up by 4,920%.
The company says this change doesn't affect who owns the most shares, just which part of Reliance owns them.
Reliance Consumer Products Limited (New RCPL) becomes the new promoter of Lotus Chocolate Company.
The change follows a Composite Scheme of Arrangement sanctioned by the NCLT Mumbai Bench on November 6, 2025.
New RCPL acquired 51% of Lotus Chocolate's equity shares, previously held by Old RCPL, effective December 1, 2025.
Lotus Chocolate's share price has surged 4,920% over the past five years despite recent declines.
The restructuring is an internal transition within the Reliance Retail group, with no change in the aggregate promoter shareholding.
