Andhra Pradesh Launches Green Energy Hub
Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister and Deputy CM started building big plants in Kakinada to make green ammonia and green hydrogen.
These plants will help the environment because they don't make any bad gases.
The plants will start working in 2027 and will make enough green ammonia to send to Germany.
This project will bring a lot of money to the area and create many jobs.
The state is also planning to have drone ambulances and taxis soon.
The plants are being built with help from companies in Malaysia, Singapore, and the UAE.
This is a big step for India to become a leader in clean energy.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan laid the foundation for green ammonia and green hydrogen plants in Kakinada.
The project, entailing an investment of ₹84,000 crore, will commence production of 1.5 million tonnes of green ammonia from June 2027 and will be exported to Germany.
The plants are expected to create 8,000 jobs and position Andhra Pradesh as a green energy hub.
The state government is prioritizing renewable energy and plans to introduce drone ambulances and taxis within a year.
The project is being developed in phases, with production starting at 0.5 MTPA in 2027 and increasing to 1.5 MTPA by 2030.
