Uttarakhand: Chamoli Landslides Leave at Least 10 Missing
Heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district caused landslides, burying houses and leaving at least 10 people missing.
The affected villages include Kuntari and Dhurma.
Rescue operations are underway, and authorities have been deployed.
The Chief Minister stated that the recent disasters in Uttarakhand are a result of global warming, and expert agencies will be employed to examine the affected regions.
The government is assessing the situation and working on measures to predict and mitigate future disasters.
Over 215 people have died or gone missing in natural disasters in the region over the past five months.
