J&K's New Era of Peace Built on Sacrifice and Compassion: LG Sinha
Imagine Jammu and Kashmir is like a garden that's getting better and more peaceful.
The leader, LG Sinha, said this peace is possible because of brave soldiers and police who sacrificed a lot, and also because of wise teachers who showed that friendship and talking things out bring peace.
He believes that everyone in J&K now has a chance to live a good life with respect.
He also said that good things like schools and roads are being built where problems used to be.
He asked everyone to help keep this peace safe and not listen to people who want to cause trouble.
The goal is to make J&K a place where people are happy, safe, and can achieve their dreams.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha stated that Jammu and Kashmir's peace is built on the sacrifices of soldiers, police, and individuals, alongside the wisdom of saints promoting friendship and dialogue.
He delivered a keynote address at a two-day International Symposium on "Peace, People and Possibilities in Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory" in Srinagar.
Sinha highlighted that visible peace in J&K allows for mutual respect and equal opportunities for all citizens to live dignified lives.
He credited PM Modi's leadership for recent progress, noting a shift from conflict to growth and prosperity, with education and children's laughter replacing violence.
The LG urged collective responsibility to protect the hard-earned peace, called for upholding the rule of law, and appealed to youth to reject radicalization and drugs.
