Bangalore Archdiocese Supports Caste Census
The head of the Bangalore Catholic Church supports the current survey that's asking about people's backgrounds.
He hopes that if any Christian groups were missed, they will be added in later.
He wants all Christians to help with the survey so they are counted fairly.
He thinks it will help make sure everyone gets the services they need.
He mentioned that some Christian groups may have been left out of past surveys, which is why he wants the community to actively participate in the census.
He clarified that Christians can choose whether or not to include their caste.
