India to Open 2027 ODI World Cup Against Australia
The 2027 men’s ODI World Cup will be played in southern Africa.
India’s first match will be against Australia on October 7 in Cape Town.
Australia are the defending champions.
India will then play Pakistan on October 10 in Johannesburg.
They will also face a qualifier and Zimbabwe in the group stage.
India is in Group A with Australia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and one qualifier.
The top three teams in the group will move to the Super 7s stage.
The tournament final will be played in Johannesburg on November 21.
India will begin their 2027 ODI World Cup campaign against defending champions Australia in Cape Town on October 7.
India will face Pakistan at Johannesburg’s Wanderers Stadium on October 10.
India’s other group-stage matches are against a qualifier on October 14 and co-hosts Zimbabwe on October 24.
The tournament will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia, and begins on October 2.
The semifinals are scheduled for November 17 and 18, with the final in Johannesburg on November 21.
