Farmers Protest Regulator Construction; Over 120 Detained
Farmers are upset about a new project to build a regulator, which is like a dam, on the Vettar river.
The government says the regulator will stop saltwater from getting into the freshwater.
However, the farmers worry that it will hurt their farms and the water they use.
On Friday, they protested by the river, and the police arrested some of them.
The farmers want the project moved because they are afraid that it will ruin their water supply.
