VPR Foundation Helps Poor in Nellore
In Nellore, India, the VPR Foundation, started by a local MP named Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy, helps poor people.
On a Sunday, the Minister of Municipal Administration gave electric tricycles to 85 people who have disabilities.
The minister said that giving more than 1,000 tricycles is a big deal and shows that VPR is a kind and generous person.
The foundation also runs other programs to help people, like building places for weddings and providing medical help.
VPR said he always helps people who need it, even if others don't.
There was some disagreement when a former leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, made comments about VPR's help to someone, but VPR said he was just trying to do good things.
The VPR Foundation, established by Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy, was praised for its philanthropic work in helping the poor.
Minister Ponguru Narayana distributed electric tricycles to 85 differently abled people at the VPR Convention Center in Kanuparthipadu village.
The minister highlighted that distributing over 1,000 electric tricycles in Nellore constituency is a significant achievement.
The VPR Foundation runs various social services, including VPR Vidya, VPR Vaidya, VPR Netra, Amruthadhara, and the construction of Shadi Manjils.
Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy defended his financial help to needy individuals, including a person named Appanna, against comments made by former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
