Ghaziabad Teacher Dies During SIR Duty
A 58-year-old biology teacher named Lal Mohan Singh died at his home in Ghaziabad.
He was working as a Booth Level Officer for a special election-related task called Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
The officials say he died from a brain problem, but his college principal thinks he was very stressed because of his work.
This is not the first time someone has died while doing this kind of election work in Uttar Pradesh.
Many people say the workers are overworked and stressed.
Lal Mohan Singh, a 58-year-old biology teacher, died at his residence in Nehru Nagar, Modinagar.
He was deployed as a Booth Level Officer (BLO) for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.
Officials stated he died of a brain haemorrhage, while his college principal attributed his death to stress and heavy workload.
Singh was working under pressure to complete door-to-door verification for the electoral roll revision.
