The Revolutionaries Brings Bengal’s Forgotten Freedom Fighters to Screen

The Revolutionaries is a new eight-part show about people who fought British rule in India.

It tells stories about Rash Behari Bose, Sachindranath Sanyal, Bagha Jatin and Pratibha Lahiri.

These people are less famous than some other freedom fighters, even though they played important roles.

The story includes the Ghadar Mutiny, a plan to begin a large revolt in 1915.

Four young actors play the main revolutionaries.

They said they learned a lot while researching their characters.

The director wanted the show to show a different part of Bengal’s history.

The actors also connected with the characters’ courage and determination.

The series is streaming on Prime Video.
