Inspector's Wife Seeks Release of Seized Jewellery
A police inspector's wife, who is also a police officer, has asked a special court to give back some jewellery that was taken by the CBI.
The jewellery is worth about Rs 30 lakh and has been kept by the CBI for two years.
The CBI took the jewellery because they think the couple has more money than they should, based on their jobs.
The wife wants the jewellery back because she needs it for her nephew's wedding next month.
Kaur, wife of Chandigarh Police Inspector Harinder Singh Sekhon, seeks release of seized jewellery worth Rs 30 lakh.
