Overcooked Reality Competition Series in Development at Netflix
Imagine a cooking game on your TV where people have to work together as chefs!
It's called Overcooked, and it's super chaotic and fun because the kitchens have lots of tricky obstacles.
Just like in the video game, teams will have to race against the clock to make food.
They'll need to be really good at talking to each other and working as a team to get the orders done before the customers get mad.
This new show is going to be like other popular Netflix shows where people try to do challenges, but with a fun cooking twist.
It's being made by the same people who make the game and a company called A24, and it will be on Netflix.
Netflix and A24 are developing a reality competition series based on the popular video game Overcooked.
The series will feature high-stakes kitchen challenges and the signature chaos of the game.
It aims to have family appeal, similar to existing Netflix reality shows like Nailed It! and Floor Is Lava.
Executive producers include individuals from Overcooked developer Ghost Town Games and A24.
The Overcooked video game, released in 2016, is known for its emphasis on teamwork and coordination under pressure.
