Mumbai to face 24-hour water cuts on Dec 12-13
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will stop the water supply for 24 hours in three areas of Mumbai on December 12 and 13.
This is because they need to do some important work on big water pipes.
The areas that will be affected are the eastern parts of Andheri, Jogeshwari, Vile Parle, the eastern parts of Santacruz, Bandra including BKC, and Dadar, Mahim.
The work involves connecting four large water channels from different places.
This is to make sure that everyone gets clean water in the future.
