Michigan Wolverines Target Kyle Whittingham as Next Coach
The University of Michigan is looking for a new football coach after they fired their old one, Sherrone Moore, because of some problems.
They really want Kyle Whittingham, who has been coaching the Utah Utes for a long time.
He has done really well with Utah and has won a lot of games.
He even had a perfect season once!
He's not retiring, though.
He's just leaving Utah and might go to Michigan.
He will coach his last game for Utah on New Year's Eve.
Michigan is considering Kyle Whittingham as their next head coach after firing Sherrone Moore.
Moore was fired due to an inappropriate relationship with a staff member and legal issues.
Whittingham is stepping down from Utah after 21 seasons and a 177-88 record.
He will coach his last game for Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl on December 31, 2025.
Whittingham is not retiring and is expected to be presented to Michigan officials soon.
