Naidu’s Vision Drives Plans for World-Class Amaravati Assembly Complex

Andhra Pradesh wants to build Amaravati into a major capital city.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is leading this vision.

Officials discussed plans for a new Legislative Assembly complex with Norman Foster + Partners.

The building would have room for 265 Assembly members and 110 Council members.

A special tower could let people see much of the Amaravati region.

Visitors may also be able to learn about democracy and lawmaking at an Experience Centre.

A Central Hall could bring Assembly and Council members together for important events.

The plans also include underground parking, gardens and better offices for legislators.
