JK Tyre Rally of Himalayas 2026 Concludes in Zanskar
The Rally of Himalayas is a race across difficult mountain roads.
It began in Manali on September 26 and finished in Padum on September 30.
Fifty cars and 80 riders took part.
They faced steep roads, high altitude and changing weather.
One 72-kilometre stage was driven in both directions, giving racers a new challenge.
Daksh Gill performed strongly in several stages, including the route through Zanskar.
Lakhpa Tsering had to leave the rally when his vehicle developed a technical problem.
Dhritimaan Singh won the motorcycle category, while teams also took top places in two four-wheel categories.
The rally ran for more than four days, concluding on September 30 after starting in Manali on September 26.

Daksh Gill won two stages and reached speeds of up to 200 km/h during the Zanskar stretch.
Moto winner Dhritimaan Singh topped the two-wheel category; Rajiv Yadav and Rohit Gowda won Xtreme, and Soham Hazra and Nirav Mehta won Adventure.
Lakhpa Tsering withdrew his Toyota Hilux after a technical issue.
