Noida Engineer's Death Sparks SIT Probe, Officials Removed
A young software engineer named Yuvraj Mehta died in a tragic accident in Noida.
His car fell into a deep, water-filled pit at a construction site early in the morning.
The area was very foggy, making it hard to see.
Yuvraj was stuck in the water for a long time, calling for help, but rescue teams took a long time to save him.
His family and some people who saw the accident say the authorities did not act quickly enough.
The Noida Authority has fired one engineer and is investigating what happened.
They are also checking other construction sites to make sure this doesn't happen again.
The postmortem report said Yuvraj died from drowning and then his heart stopped.
The police say they tried their best to save him, but the fog made it very hard.
Yuvraj's family is very sad and wants the authorities to make sure this never happens to anyone else.
The Uttar Pradesh government has also removed the CEO of Noida and the Managing Director of the Noida Metro Rail Corporation from their posts and formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the incident.
