MHA Orders Sanjit Rodrigues to Ladakh, Rejects Goa's Plea
Imagine a government worker named Sanjit who was supposed to move to a new job in Ladakh.
But, he was still working on some important projects in Goa, where he was before.
The government in Goa asked if he could stay until those projects were done, but the big boss (MHA) said no!
Sanjit has to go to Ladakh right away.
The boss said that if he doesn't go, there could be trouble, like not getting a promotion.
Sanjit has to leave his job in Goa immediately and start the new one.
This is because he was supposed to move a while ago, and the boss wants him there now.
The Goa government wanted to finish up city projects first, but the boss said the move comes first.
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) ordered Sanjit Rodrigues to join the Ladakh administration immediately.
The MHA rejected all requests from the Goa government to cancel or delay Rodrigues' transfer.
Rodrigues was previously transferred in September 2024 but remained in Goa due to Smart City Mission projects.
The MHA warned of disciplinary action, including withheld promotion, for non-compliance.
Rodrigues will be relieved from his position in Goa and is directed to report to Ladakh immediately.
