Haryana Enhances Infrastructure Project Transparency
The Quality Assurance Authority (QAA) in Haryana is working to make sure that big building projects are done well and fairly.
They are checking many important projects to see if they are being built correctly and safely.
The QAA is also making rules that say certain projects must have special experts to help plan them.
They are putting up QR codes at project sites so people can check the progress online.
The QAA will give projects scores to see if they are good enough, and they will keep checking to make sure everything stays on track.
They are also making sure that drainage systems are included in all plans and that no one is taking government land illegally.
QAA-Haryana is conducting technical audits of 25 major infrastructure projects to ensure quality and transparency.
Mandatory engagement of DPR and design consultants for specific projects and third-party inspection for projects costing ₹5 crore and above.
QR codes will be displayed at project sites for public access to project details and progress updates.
Projects will be rated on a scoring system, with those scoring below 75 marks considered unsatisfactory.
Drainage planning is now a mandatory component of all DPRs, and encroachment on government land is being addressed as a priority.
