Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 Offers Strong Value at ₹19,999
Mijia, a Xiaomi smart-home brand, has introduced an air purifier in India.
It costs ₹19,999 and is designed mainly for one large room or a small apartment.
The machine measures different kinds of pollution, temperature, and humidity.
It uses several filters and other systems to clean the air and reduce odours.
Testing found that it worked well when pollution or cooking smoke increased.
It was quiet enough to use in a bedroom at its lowest setting.
Xiaomi says it can cover about 940 square feet, but the review found 300–500 square feet more realistic in typical Indian homes.
Overall, the purifier was considered a strong buy, although its app and replacement-filter costs should be considered.
Mijia’s Smart Air Purifier 6 has launched in India at ₹19,999.
The purifier includes five sensors, including a relatively uncommon PM1 sensor, and a colour LCD display.
Its five-stage filtration system cleared noticeable pollution and cooking odours quickly during testing.
Although Xiaomi claims coverage up to roughly 940 square feet, testing found 300–500 square feet more realistic.
The purifier is quiet at low speeds and smartly integrated, but app dependence, limited voice controls, and filter costs reduce its appeal.
