Big roads are important because they help people travel safely and quickly.

In a state called Himachal Pradesh, in India, some roads are old and need fixing.

The person in charge of roads for the country, a minister named Nitin Gadkari, said the government will pay money to fix one of these roads.

The money is 25.11 crore rupees, which is a very large amount.

The road is called National Highway 305, and it goes from a place called Banjar to a place called Aut.

The state's road minister, Vikramaditya Singh, also asked for money for other roads and a tunnel.

The tunnel is called the Jalori tunnel and would cost 1,775 crore rupees.

The minister agreed to think about helping with more projects, like another highway called NH 303.

These roads help farmers carry apples to market, so many people will be happy.

Fixing roads helps everyone get where they need to go.
