Pune records significant temperature drop, IMD predicts more cold
Pune and some nearby areas in Maharashtra experienced a big drop in temperature on Friday morning.
Pashan was the coldest at 7.7°C, and Shivajinagar was 8.3°C.
This is much colder than the 10°C recorded the day before.
The weather experts say this is because of cold winds coming from the north.
They expect the temperatures to stay around 10°C for the next two days and then get a little warmer.
Other places like Ambegaon and Talegaon also got colder than 10°C.
Pashan recorded the lowest temperature of 7.7°C on Friday morning.
Shivajinagar's temperature dropped to 8.3°C, down from 10°C the previous day.
The drop is attributed to cold and dry winds from the north.
Other affected areas include Ambegaon, Talegaon, Daund, Malin, and Baramati.
Temperatures are expected to remain around 10°C for the next 48 hours before rising slightly.
