India, Sri Lanka Navies Begin SLINEX-25 Naval Exercise
India and Sri Lanka are having a special naval exercise called SLINEX-25.
This is like a practice session for their navies to work together and get better at their jobs.
Two Indian ships, INS Rana and INS Jyoti, have sailed to Colombo, Sri Lanka, to join the exercise.
SLINEX-25 is split into two parts: one in the harbor and one at sea.
They will do things like practice firing guns, talking to each other using special codes, and helping each other with fuel.
This exercise helps both countries become better friends and work more closely together to keep the seas safe.
Indian Naval Ships INS Rana and INS Jyoti arrived in Colombo for SLINEX-25.
The 12th edition of the Sri Lanka India Naval Exercise (SLINEX-25) is scheduled to run until August 18.
