E-rickshaw Driver Arrested for Assaulting and Dumping Woman
A 31-year-old e-rickshaw driver in Delhi was arrested for assaulting a 30-year-old woman.
The incident happened near Majnu Ka Tilla.
The driver picked up the woman from outside the Vidhan Sabha metro station, took her to his house, made her drink alcohol, and then assaulted her.
When she resisted, he beat her up and left her unconscious near a hotel.
The woman was taken to the hospital and is still sedated.
The driver has a previous record of similar offenses.
The police are investigating further.
